Rasmus Paludan, a far-right politician and extremist is the head of the Stram Kurs (Hard Line) party in Denmark. The Quran was burned during many of his rallies, which caused violent protests and the destruction of vehicles. In Stockholm last week, he burned an effigy of Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the Turkish president.
