US: Violence reported from outside Pentagon, officer stabbed to death, suspect killed

A Pentagon police officer was stabbed to death during a burst of violence at a transit center and a suspect was shot and killed. The US military HQ was temporarily placed on lockdown, the Pentagon told reporters.
